During Christmas holidays the children of a small village split themselves into two groups build a huge snow fort and begin preparing a week-long snowball war. The youthful rivalry opens up linger tension among some group members and helps members see each other differently than they had before. This is particularly true for the leaders of the two groups Luc and Sophie who find themselves torn between admiring each other from a distance yet leading their own group to victory.
