Under the pressure of gentrification and the wishes of a university, an old Mazu shrine, the last one of the community, stands unwavering in the middle of the construction site. Only the caretaker and a group of students stand in a way of this so-called “development”, in hope that the candle light will not fade from this Mazu shrine.
