In this spinoff of "Alice" ex-Mel's Diner waitress Florence Castleberry returns to her hometown of Cowtown Texas and on a dare buys a dilapidated roadhouse. Renaming the place Flo's Yellow Rose Flo attempts to fix the place up turn a profit and deal with the somewhat mixed-up and burned-out customers and employees including bartender Earl pianist Les greedy banker Farley and customer Chester.
